    Hello Everyone!!

Welcome to the Hand Crafted group.

This group is intended for those who want to learn and those who already enjoy making hand crafted items including crochet, cross stitch, plastic or mesh canvas, knitting, sewing, wood working and other techniques.

Getting to know each other is essential for any group to grow and function.  I figure that we should start by posting a bit about ourselves... here are some suggested points:

    • Crafts enjoyed or that you're wanting to learn
    • How long you've been crafting
    • Special techniques you know or want to learn
    • If your love of crafting was or is being passed down from generation to generation
    • Types of patterns or ideas you're looking for
    • Links that may be beneficial to a crafter
    • Books & magazines you find helpful

Feel free to elaborate or post anything that you feel will benefit our group.

I look forward to sharing with you!

    Blessings,

    Laurel

Greetings. I am excited to join this group. I'm a solitary and have been wiccan most of my adult life. I knit, do some crochet, and work with herbs but my first love is jewelry. I handcraft silver, using PMC and Art Clay and do some work with dicrhoic glass. Is anyone else in the group working with wire wrap or PMC? I love stone lore and making "fascination" pieces...one of a kind jewelry that only a witchy woman (or man) would wear.

I also have a magical podcast that advises what stones to wear, what herbs and animal lore are helpful to increase the daily simple magics in your life.

Cerridwyn here, real name is Jan. I'm a Witch, have been since the age of 12, which is about 40 years now.
I am an avid knitter, I'm learning how to sew on my own (so far not doing so good), and I am an Artist by trade, my specialty is in slipcast and handbuilt ceramics and zinc plate printmaking.

I have been looking in vain for a pattern or instructions on making a Kitchen Witch, which isn't anything like a corn doll.

It's nice to meet with fellow wichy crafters.

Hi, I'm Mischief my real name is Kris, I have been a witch for 17 years now. I don't know how to Knit but I want to learn, I crochet, do cross stich, sew, paint, and make jewelry. I own my own buisness I am hoping to make my own essential oils and soaps. Hoping. I already make candles. I guess I am a busy little bee. The only thing with jewelry making is I don't know how to cast silver, and I am horrible about wire wrap. If you all want to see my jewelry I have a myspace page.
